Houston 2-Day Travel Guide & Food Recommendations

📅 I was on a business trip for three days and took a day off to explore Houston. Although I didn't have much time to explore, the food was amazing. 👍 The city is large and it's not convenient to take a taxi, so I recommend renting a car. 🚗 🏠 Accommodation: I don't recommend AC Marriot Downtown. The surrounding area is desolate and there are many homeless people in the downtown area. 😣 🌟 Attractions: - NASA Space Center: Make sure to arrive before 3 pm! ❗ This way, you can take the tram to the outdoor area. We arrived around 4 pm and missed all the shows and the tram. It was a painful lesson. 😅 - Waterfall Park: It's a bit simple, and there was no water inside when we visited. 💧 - Natural Science Museum: It has a lot of content and is great for kids. 👧 - If you plan to visit more than three attractions, the CityPASS is a great deal. It costs around $76 and is cheaper than buying individual tickets. 💰 🍔 Food: - Eunice: I recommend the shrimp etouffee. The Brussels sprouts and gumbo are also good. The health oyster is a bit greasy, but their bread dessert is amazing. It's a calorie bomb. 💣 - Truth BBQ: Highly recommended by local colleagues from Texas. 👍 The beef brisket is tender with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat. The pork ribs have a strong smoky flavor and are tender. The spicy sausage is delicious but a bit salty. The corn pudding side dish is like cornmeal and is amazing. - Traveler's Table: Great atmosphere and delicious food, but the curry crab is a bit salty. 😕 - French Riviera: The latte art is beautiful, but the coffee is average. The brunch menu only has bakery items and eggs, but they taste good. 😃 - Chuan San Jiao: Recommended by a Sichuan native. It's delicious, affordable, and the service is great. 👏
