At the end of 2024, my friends and I set off from the busy city, driving south, and plunged into the embrace of Huizhou, heading straight for Chengkan in Huangshan. · ⛩ Recommended by a friend - [Shanliyuan Inn (Chengkan Scenic Area Branch)], we came to Chengkan to find this place, and it did not disappoint. It was a pleasant surprise during our trip! We specially chose a 270° panoramic floor-to-ceiling window. Lying on the lazy sofa, just dazing off, it was really nice. The sunrise through the forest mist was super beautiful! Great value for money and an excellent experience. · 🌟 Highlights of the Inn: 1⃣ The most attractive feature is its location, right next to the ancient town of Chengkan, occupying the highest point of the scenic area. It's a top choice for photography enthusiasts, offering a panoramic view of Chengkan! Opening the window reveals a traditional Chinese ink painting. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning and falling asleep under the starry sky at night, this tranquility is a luxury you can't find in the city. 2⃣ The inn's design retains the rustic charm of Huizhou architecture, with blue tiles and white walls, exuding elegance in every detail. The interior of the rooms is a perfect blend of modern and classical, featuring antique furniture while providing a comfortable living experience. 3⃣ I particularly liked the inn's public area, a large courtyard where you can sit and enjoy tea, play chess, listen to the sounds of birds and cicadas from the mountains, and look at the ancient village of Chengkan below. This is the essence of a peaceful life. 4⃣ The facilities are complete, with ample hot water, soft bedding, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, disposable face towels, disposable toilet seat covers, hangers, mineral water, and a mirror with a light. 5⃣ In terms of cleanliness, it is impeccable. Every corner is clean and tidy, with a faint tea fragrance in the air, making you feel refreshed. The inn's owner is warm and attentive, even preparing local snacks for us, which was very thoughtful! 6⃣ The breakfast is delicious. At 7 am, the hostess prepared Huizhou-style noodles for us. My friends and I finished everything, even the soup! It was really good! Homemade noodles with bamboo shoots, shredded pork, and tofu, with a broth made from lard and green onions, topped with a soft-boiled egg!! Super warm and comforting. · 🎀 Wonderful Leisure Experience: ✅ Strolling through the ancient alleys of Chengkan, with weathered walls on both sides of the stone-paved roads, every brick and tile tells a story. Feel the traces of time in the ancient village, with the elegant Huizhou architectural style formed over centuries, exuding a unique charm, both dynamic and serene, both rustic and elegant! ✅ Climb to the terrace on the 5th floor of the inn, overlooking the entire village. The white walls and black tiles, green mountains and clear waters, and villagers working in the mist create a constantly changing natural landscape painting, as if you are in a flowing landscape painting. · 💗 Climbing Huangshan, there is no other mountain; visiting Chengkan, there are no obstacles in life! Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Huizhou and taste Huizhou delicacies. Chengkan is beautiful all year round, with different scenery in each season.
