#traveldiaries Just returned from an amazing trip to Ios Island, and it was such a delight! 🌊 This place is known for its stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife, but I was pleasantly surprised by its charming villages too. I spent a lot of time at Mylopotas Beach, where the soft sand and crystal-clear water made it a perfect spot to relax. Best of all, there’s no entrance fee! I also explored Chora, the main town, with its whitewashed buildings and narrow streets. I had to visit the archaeological site of Skarkos; the entry was just 3 euros, and the history was fascinating. For sunsets, Ios has some of the best views—head to the old windmill for an unforgettable sight. The local tavernas serve incredible food; don’t miss the moussaka!
