The wildfire had a significant impact on the local area, and as an important part of Rocky Mountain tourism, Jasper Glacier was also affected to some extent. Fortunately, Jasper Glacier is still open to the public. 🚗Getting to Jasper Glacier 🚗Self-driving: From Banff, take the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) for about 3 hours. The scenery along the way is absolutely stunning. 🚌Public transport: Some tour bus companies offer round-trip services from Banff to Jasper, or you can choose a local sightseeing tour. 🎫Tickets National Park Pass: Adult: CAD 10.50/day Family/Group: CAD 21/day Jasper Glacier is part of Jasper National Park, so you need to purchase a National Park Pass to enter. ⚠️If you plan to stay in Canada for a long time or visit various national parks multiple times, you can buy a Discovery Pass, which allows unlimited access to Canadian national parks for one year. 🎿Glacier Activity Ticket: You must try the Ice Explorer (from CAD 95) or the Glacier Skywalk (from CAD 43). Tickets are limited during peak season, so be sure to book in advance. 🏨Accommodation: 1️⃣Hotel: Glacier View Lodge is very close to the glacier and within walking distance of the scenic area. It is recommended to book in advance during peak season. 3️⃣Camping: There are campsites near the scenic area, but reservations are required in advance. 🍱Dining: The Icefield Center has a restaurant and café offering light meals and hot drinks, but the prices are a bit high. If you stay in Jasper Town, there are more restaurant options. Local barbecue and classic North American burgers are recommended.
