Shaxi Ancient Town is a great place to relax

We drove to Shaxi Ancient Town during the May Day holiday in 2023. We stayed at this guesthouse, which was great. It was in a good location, right in the center of the ancient town. The guesthouse was small, with a private courtyard. It was exquisite and clean, and very nice! There were only three rooms in total, all made of natural wood. Each room was a two-story loft, and you could cook for yourself. The owner had been in the tea business in Xishuangbanna for more than 10 years, and came here a few years ago because of the development of Shaxi. This guesthouse only opened at the beginning of 2023. Outside the courtyard, the owner also ran a tea room and a tie-dye clothing store. All the bedding in the guesthouse was made of handmade tie-dye fabric, which was very comfortable.
