Jinzhai County Red Army Square

Jinzhai County Red Army Square Scenic Area is located in Meishan Town, Jinzhai County, Lu'an City, Anhui Province, covering an area of 250,000 square meters. The square consists of seven parts: Jinzhai Revolutionary Martyrs Monument built in 1964, Red Army Village built in 1956, Red Army Martyrs Cemetery built in 1969, Jinzhai County Revolutionary Museum built in 1983, Red Army Square built in 2005, General Hong Xuezhi Monument built in 2008, and Jinzhai County Red Army Memorial Hall rebuilt in 2009. It has now become a large comprehensive memorial park with mountain characteristics, centered on the Jinzhai Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, integrating the monument, museum, hall, stele, cemetery, square, and Red Army Village. Jinzhai County Red Army Square Scenic Area is a national key martyr memorial facility protection unit, a national patriotism education demonstration base, a national red tourism classic scenic spot, and a national 4A-level tourist attraction.
