| Marriott Mena House Cairo. I had been eyeing this hotel for a long time before my trip to Egypt, and I finally got to stay there. Overall, it was a good experience, and it's worth staying at if you have the budget. 1️⃣ Restaurant I highly recommend the 139 Pavilion restaurant, which is right in front of the pyramids. I thought the main selling point was the amazing view of the pyramids, so I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it was surprisingly good. The flavors have been adjusted for international tourists, and it's definitely a good choice in the Giza area. 2️⃣ Breakfast Breakfast is served at the 139 Pavilion restaurant. It's the best breakfast I've had at a hotel in Egypt in the past two weeks. There are many options, and I showed off the many figs and desserts to my friends. 3️⃣ Facilities I think this is the biggest weakness of the Mena House. The decor is a bit old, and the rooms are not big. Considering the price of the hotel, it's very average. However, the bedding is very good, and the bed is very soft and comfortable. 4️⃣ Environment The biggest advantage of the Mena House is the atmosphere. From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel like you've stepped into another world. The public areas have a historical feel, and you can see the pyramids from the garden courtyard. It's only about a 10-minute walk from the hotel entrance to the north gate of the pyramids, which is very convenient. It's perfect for being one of the first people to enter in the morning.
