#favouriteitinerary During a past visit to Chikan Ancient Town, founded during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, I was amazed by its unique blend of Chinese and Western architectural styles, with over 680 ancient arcades stretching nearly 3 kilometers. Strolling through Century-old Arcade Street felt like traveling back to the Republic of China era, especially at night when the lights created a scene reminiscent of "Shanghai Nights." The vintage tram, a double-decker retro green tram, transported me back in time with its nostalgic "clang-clang" chime. The 30-minute ride cost 50 RMB per person. Experiencing the watery charm of Jiangmen on a water paddle boat, gliding past stone arch bridges and along the mirror-like river, was absolutely scenic. Wear comfortable shoes and be mindful of preserving the ancient buildings and environment. Chikan Ancient Town's historical charm and cultural richness make it a must-visit destination. 🌿😊
