A hidden gem in Kota Kinabalu - Hyatt Centric, a great choice for family trips!

Hey guys, today I want to share my amazing stay in Kota Kinabalu with you, at the Hyatt Centric Hotel! Hyatt Centric opened in 2022 and is the newest 5-star hotel in Kota Kinabalu. When I travel, I always choose hotels with at least 4 stars, and the newer the better. Hyatt Centric fits my standards perfectly. I highly recommend this hotel for family trips! Although the hotel doesn't have a beach, the semi-outdoor pool on the 23rd floor is amazing. My kid spent two hours in the pool on the first morning and had a great time. The pool isn't heated, but the water temperature is just right in the summer in Kota Kinabalu, and swimming is so refreshing. The price is very affordable, around 1,000 per night, and it includes breakfast! The breakfast on the 22nd floor is very rich, with a variety of delicious food and local Malaysian snacks, such as Teh Tarik. I have to say, it tastes even better than the ones in tea restaurants. Sitting in a scenic spot and enjoying breakfast while looking at the beautiful scenery outside is so relaxing and enjoyable. There is also a bar on the 23rd floor, which is very popular during peak season, so remember to book in advance. You can watch the sunset there, but we booked the sunset bar at Shangri-La, which is one of the top 3 best sunset spots in the world. The location of Hyatt Centric is also a key factor. Across the street from the hotel is Suria Sabah, the largest mall in Kota Kinabalu, and the Jesselton Point duty-free shop. If you want to shop, you can go out and shop to your heart's content. The pier for going out to sea is within 200 meters, and you can walk there. It's very convenient, whether you want to play around or go out to sea. In short, if you plan to travel to Kota Kinabalu, especially with your family, Hyatt Centric is really worth considering.
