Luxury Stay Overlooking Petronas at W Kuala Lumpur

When you think of Kuala Lumpur, you think of W Hotel, so here’s a report on W Kuala Lumpur. In Kuala Lumpur, known for having the cheapest 5-star hotels in the world, W Kuala Lumpur costs over 30,000 yen per night (still cheap). So how does it fare? Room: No upgrade for Marriott Platinum due to full occupancy, unfortunately. We got a bottom room, but it was spacious enough. We communicated via email beforehand, and they decorated the room for a birthday. Breakfast: Despite staying only one night, we arrived in the morning and were able to have breakfast on the day of arrival instead of an upgrade and early check-in. This was delightful. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts on both days, so much so that we could only eat local food at night. Haha. The salad presentation was sometimes like a farm display you see in Southeast Asian hotels, which was exciting. Pool: You can see the Petronas Twin Towers from WET. We visited twice, chilling with beer during the day and taking photos with the night view. The beer here is exceptional. Location: It’s about a 10-minute walk from Bukit Nanas station, but since Grab and Uber are cheap, we recommend using ride-sharing apps or taxis if you have large luggage. However, be aware of the heavy traffic in the morning and evening... W Kuala Lumpur is a must-stay spot when visiting Kuala Lumpur. Experience the world of W with the Petronas Twin Towers!
