Suzhou Zhudian Brick Kiln Site - A lakeside historical site worth visiting!

🌈Highlights: The Zhudian Ancient Kiln Site is located in Zhudian Village, on the west side of Changbai Pond in Jinxi, Kunshan, Suzhou, Jiangnan Water Town. The village is surrounded by water on three sides, with beautiful scenery and a total area of about 120,000 square meters. It was built in the Qing Dynasty and expanded during the Republic of China. There are 19 ancient kilns, arranged along the lakeshore, with large bodies, dense distribution, and complete preservation. It is the only remaining ancient kiln site with the highest density in Jiangnan. The village has built an ancient kiln culture museum based on the ancient kiln site, and the 200-meter-high red brick chimney is a landmark. The simple and heavy brick kiln culture is integrated with the light and beautiful Jiangnan water town.
