Arashiyama House MAMA

This hotel was very beautifully designed. A little oasis. The inside/ outside bathtub was a real highlight. The pizza restaurant was also delicious although the portions were on the smaller size. It was a bonus being able to have a 50/50 pizza with two different toppings. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast which was not to our taste, it would be great if a western option of something like an omelette could be offered. Aside from the super pretty, clean and premium hotel room, I actually organised a surprise proposal to my girlfriend in this hotel - the amount of help I have received from the hotel staff was tremendous. The room is much larger than the average Japanese hotel. Guests can use the lounge, which has sofas, books, tea and kurasu coffee for you to enjoy. It's very comfortable to live in.
