Experience 7 Kintetsu Limited Express Trains in One Go: Kintetsu Kansai Tour

🗾Last month, I completed the ultimate Kintetsu tour in Japan. My itinerary combined the experience of riding limited express trains and sightseeing along the way. I also used the Kintetsu 5-Day Pass to save on fares, which was great! Here is a share of this unforgettable rail journey～🌟 1️⃣ Mount Yoshino and Blue Symphony ★Osaka→Yoshino, take the sightseeing limited express "Blue Symphony", the biggest impression is that the whole train exudes an elegant artistic atmosphere. ★For a day trip to Mount Yoshino, I chose to take the cable car and minibus to the top of the mountain, Oku Senbon, and then walk down the mountain all the way, not missing any attractions, for a total of 3-4 hours. ★Return trip, Yoshino→Osaka, originally planned to take the "Sakura Liner" (さくらライナー), but because it was too late and too dark and cold on the mountain, I had to take an earlier regular limited express train. 2️⃣ Kashikojima Port and Shimakaze ★Osaka→Kashikojima, take the sightseeing limited express "Shimakaze" (しまかぜ), a very expensive train with a double-decker bar in the dining car and delicious desserts. ★Kashikojima is very niche and not crowded. I took a Spanish cruise to tour Ago Bay, which is famous for its pearls, and stayed overnight at a local hotel. 3️⃣ Marine Life and Urban Liner ★Kashikojima→Toba, take the "Urban Liner" (アーバンライナー), a train designed for fast intercity travel, with a simple and business-like decor. ★I watched a sea lion show and penguin walk at Toba Aquarium, which is probably the most popular place in the area, with a wide variety of animals and multiple routes, with no restrictions on the tour route. ★Toba→Kyoto, take the "Vista Car", a patented double-decker car owned by Kintetsu, with basic 2+2 seats on the upper level and compartments on the lower level, which is very interesting. 4️⃣ Arashiyama Hozugawa and Aoniyoshi ★This is my third time in Kyoto, so this time I only went to Arashiyama, which I hadn't been to before, and took the popular Arashiyama train, which was full of foreign tourists, with basically no one speaking Japanese. The scenery along the Hozugawa River is very nice. ★Kyoto→Nara, take the sightseeing limited express "Aoniyoshi" (あおによし), a short 30-minute trip that gives you a strong sense of Japanese charm. 5️⃣ Meihan City and Hinotori ★Nara→Osaka, take the "Ise-Shima Liner" (伊勢志摩ライナー), which is painted in two sunny colors, red and yellow, and has a stylish interior in the style of a resort in the Ise-Shima area. ★Osaka→Nagoya, take the "Hinotori" (ひのとり), a new Kintetsu train known for its comfort and luxury, which offers a different travel experience compared to the Shinkansen, which is only about speed.
