Night Tour Around Kiyomizu-dera Temple

In mid-February, I booked a hotel (Terrace Kiyomizu Kyoto) near Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The hotel offers parking for 3000 yen per night. We had dinner at a soba noodle restaurant on the street. After the restaurant closed around 7 PM, there were hardly any people around. The night view was beautiful and perfect for photos, especially with no crowds. We walked to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, then wandered back down Kiyomizuzaka and Sannenzaka, and finally reached the Five-story Pagoda. There were a few people at the pagoda, but not many. The night tour was enjoyable, but it's best to stay nearby to avoid getting too tired. You can also visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple early in the morning when there are no people.
