I personally would recommend the one located at LA23 3HQ Go to the ticket office and get a ticket including a boat and train ride. Rmb to get the return ticket 😅 Also get a map from the ticket office which tells you the departure time of the trains and boats as the rides aren’t frequent at all. Hop on to a boat which brings you from Windermere to Lakeside. During the ride you would get an amazing view of the Lake District. After getting off in Lakeside hop on to a steam train YES you heard me right it’s a vintage steam train to get from Lakeside to Haverthwaite. There are several cafes where you can enjoy an afternoon tea in a stunning traditional British railway station. #lakedistrict #england
