The buildings around the canal belt are closely packed together, so a walking tour is definitely recommended and worth your time.😉 Fun facts:⬇️ •Leiden is second only to Amsterdam in having the most water flowing within its city gates. •Leiden is the city of Museums. •Famous for having the oldest University in Netherlands (Leiden University). •In 2022, Leiden is the European capital of science for a year. I personally loved this city more than Amsterdam, it’s cleaner, nicer, more peaceful and less crowded.
