Emei Mountain Golden Summit Sunrise 2-Day Tour Guide

You can book them directly on Trip.com. There is also Yangyi Mountain House, a temple accommodation that requires a phone reservation. After reading the guide, I chose a scenic room at Xinxin Hotel. It is about 200 meters from the cable car, which is very convenient. The service, facilities, and views are all good. 🚄Transportation guide: There are four steps in total: 1️⃣Chengdu → Emei Mountain Station: You can take a high-speed train for about 1 hour. Both Chengdu East and Chengdu South stations are accessible. Tickets cost CNY 62–65. 💥Note: If you want to check in to the Golden Summit Hotel smoothly at night, you must take the scenic bus before 3:00 pm, as the last cable car is at 6:00 pm. 2️⃣Emei Mountain Station → Golden Summit: There is a scenic bus from the exit of Emei Mountain Station to Leidongping. The mountain road is steep and high, and the journey takes about 2 hours. Then you need to walk 1.2 km up the mountain, mostly on steps, which takes about 25 minutes to reach the cable car station. The cable car is very large, like a bus, which is a magical experience. 3️⃣Cable car station → hotel → Golden Summit: This step is very convenient. The hotel on the top of the mountain is only 150 meters from the Golden Summit. Walk into the fairyland and enjoy the beautiful scenery. 4️⃣Return: Golden Summit → cable car → Leidongping bus → Emei Mountain Station → Chengdu. If you want to visit Baoguo Temple at the foot of the mountain, just choose a bus with a different terminal. The return bus takes at least 1 hour and 20 minutes. Also, pay attention to your train ticket time and allow enough time. 💰️Overall cost: round-trip train ticket CNY 130 + accommodation CNY 900 + full set of tickets CNY 370 (tickets + round-trip bus + round-trip cable car) + other food, drinks, and donations are up to you. The sunrise and sea of clouds at Emei Mountain are well worth seeing. Standing on the Golden Summit, you can see the solemn statue of Samantabhadra, breathe the fresh air at an altitude of 3,079 meters, and watch the clouds roll by. It is very open.
