Lhasa | Take a set of Tibetan costume photos on Barkhor Street

When you come to Lhasa, you must visit Barkhor Street. Barkhor Street, also known as Bajiao Street, is a famous circumambulation path and commercial center in Lhasa. It has preserved the traditional appearance and living style of the ancient city. The main attractions on Barkhor Street include Jokhang Temple, the circumambulation path, the Dalai Lama's secret palace, and many handicraft shops of various forms. There are many shops on Barkhor Street that offer Tibetan costume photography. I randomly chose one with a nice facade and went in. The final photos turned out okay, but the Tibetan headpiece was tightly pressed on my head, which was painful. 💡Tips: The photographer said that my outfit was a standard Tibetan costume. Those bright red ones with dragons and phoenixes, paired with white floral boots, are all mismatched. Some are even costumes, which are enough to deceive tourists like us. After all, women only care about looking good and slim, and don't really care if the clothes are authentic (haha, I want to say you are right).
