Covent Garden feels like a beautiful dream

This year, London has embraced the Christmas atmosphere quite early, so early that it makes me suspect consumerism is becoming more prevalent. Today, I happened to walk into Covent Garden, and the Christmas lights were already up, exactly the same as last year, which were my favorite Christmas lights. It feels like a beautiful dream, and when I wake up, I have nothing. Today's street performer show was also very impressive; the random uncle and little boy from the crowd were very cooperative, very relaxed, and had a lot of fun. As I write, I remember sitting here quietly with her, listening to the street performers quietly singing. At those moments of clinking glasses (I know this idiom is not quite appropriate), I always thought how wonderful it would be to walk through the Christmas streets of London with someone I love. An old romantic fantasy, never realized, but at that moment, it felt so close to the fantasy, only I never realized it then, thinking it was just the effect of the alcohol. How could it be the effect of the alcohol... just a small glass, not enough to get drunk, and now it's time to wake up again.
