"Check in to the Mercure Lyon Royal Hotel: A Unique Lyon Experience" I was filled with joy and curiosity as I stepped into the Mercure Lyon Royal Hotel. As I approached, I could feel its excellent location, located in the heart of the Lyon Peninsula, with Lyon's "must-see attractions" seemingly radiating out from it. Following the red clay road at the southeast corner of Bellecour Square, I easily arrived at the hotel. Standing in front of the hotel, my thoughts couldn't help but drift back to its past. Construction began in 1888, and after 24 years, it finally opened in 1912. This long journey is like a silent epic. I imagined that so many celebrities, like the Beatles, piano master Arthur Rubinstein, and actress Sophia Loren, had stayed here, and I felt a little fortunate, as if I had stepped into their life trajectories. Entering the hotel, the five-story building gives a unique feeling. It easily reminded me of the exquisite buildings on the Champs Elysees. I think this is probably architect Prosper Perrin's tribute to the Parisian style, just like the "Eiffel Tower" on the side of Fourvière Hill, with a different sentiment. Entering the guest room, the unique color design was a pleasant surprise. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by different shades of red. Going further inside, red was still the main color. But the amazing thing is that the overlapping images depicted in red on the wallpaper and curtains are very detailed. Visually, there is not only no sense of oppression, but under the warm yellow light, it is like having soft wings brushing past, full of warmth. I couldn't wait to go to the French balcony outside the guest room. This is simply a great place to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The hotel is adjacent to Bellecour Square. Standing on the balcony, the entire square is in full view. The statue of "Sun King" Louis XIV stands majestically, as if telling the history of Lyon. The guest rooms, renovated from 2004 to 2009, exude an antique charm. This charm allows me to feel Lyon's cultural heritage more deeply. Here, I fully enjoy the style of Lyon. Every corner is full of stories, and every scene is engraved in my memory. This is a check-in experience I will never forget.
