Lunar New Year travel recommendation: Visit Macau for the festive atmosphere

Macau may be small, but many places are decorated for the New Year. Flowers, the character "fu" (福), and red lanterns are all over the place, and the Ruins of St. Paul's and the Leal Senado Building are full of Chinese New Year vibes. Nowadays, cities are increasingly decorated in a Western style, and what is missing is Chinese cultural decorations. Chinese New Year should be celebrated with Chinese decorations, as this is our Chinese New Year. Macau has a total of 25 World Heritage Sites, including the Leal Senado Building, A-Ma Temple, the Maritime Museum, the Mandarin's House, and St. Lawrence's Church. We stayed in Macau until the Lantern Festival just to see the fireworks, and it was really great. One of the best viewing spots I chose was by the river under the Wynn Macau, with the Macau Tower right above. Another viewing spot is at the Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16, where we saw the spectacular fireworks from our room. It was amazing!
