The Phra Mahathat Naphaphonphumisiri Pagoda is located on Doi Inthanon. After exploring the summit of Doi Inthanon, drive down to the parking lot and take the shuttle provided by the staff. The fare is donation-based, just drop your contribution in the box at the back of the vehicle. The entrance fee for Thai nationals is 50 baht per person, and it's absolutely worth it. The weather is fantastic, making you feel like you're on a cloud. In fact, clouds often come right up to you (haha). Sometimes, the view is just mist. There are escalators on both sides of the pagoda, each offering a unique but equally stunning view. There are plenty of photo spots, with numerous angles to capture. There's a bridge, beautiful flowers, and a breathtaking view to uplift your spirits.
