This Cafe Brings You Back to The

This is Kawisari Kofie, located in Kayutangan Street Malang (which had been declared a "heritage" by the government because it was a busy business center street back then, before malls and everything). This Coffee Shop is in one of the antique colonial buildings in that street, along with other vintage buildings. They have their own coffee plantation at Kawi and Kelud Mountain's hillside, cultivated and operated by the locals there. The plantation itself was built in 1830 when the Dutch colonized Indonesia, and was taken over by the Indonesian when the Dutch left. The coffee was really nice, and they also served food and pastries. This cafe was managed by Tugu Hotel Malang, the first five-star hotel in Malang. So don't worry about the quality! Really worth a visit, want to be back later for other food and coffee!
