Mangshi 3D2N Travel Guide.

👯 Our first stop in Yunnan was Mangshi, which was also the city I missed the most after the trip. The slow pace of life, comfortable climate, and friendly locals made our trip even more enjoyable! Here is our itinerary for your reference: 🏠Accommodation: Thanks to everyone's recommendations, we stayed at the Yuelin Hotel, which is next to Mangshi Square and close to other places. The hotel environment, hygiene, service, and details were all great. A comfortable stay is essential for a good trip! Highly recommended! 💰Cost: Double room CNY 180/night, including buffet breakfast and free airport transfer. 🚗Transportation: I don't recommend renting a car, as Mangshi is not very big and many popular places are close to each other. We didn't rent a car. We took a taxi to places that were a bit far away. Taxis are cheap here, about CNY 5 for 3 km. This city is perfect for city walks (we walked up the mountain to the Golden Pagoda, and the scenery along the way was beautiful). 🟡Itinerary: DAY 1️⃣: Airport transfer to hotel at noon ➡️ Find food ➡️ Xinwan Factory Night Market ➡️ Go back to rest 💁 There are many delicious foods at the night market, and you can eat snacks while shopping. DAY2️⃣: Breakfast at hotel (delicious!) ➡️ Mangshi Hongli Market (fruits!) ➡️ Bodhi Street ➡️ Mengbalanaxi Rare Park 💰CNY 40/person (about 3 hours) ➡️ Dinner: Hand-pulled rice noodles ➡️ Walk to the Golden Pagoda and Silver Pagoda in the evening 💁Tips 🔶 There are many fruits and vegetables at Hongli Market, and they are relatively cheap. Enjoy! 🔶 Highly recommend the Rare Park!!! The peacocks are free-range and not afraid of people. You can see a variety of species! 🔶 Bodhi Street is great for photos, but be careful of cars on the road and wear sunscreen (I got sunburned 😭😭). 🔶 We climbed the stairs up the mountain to the Golden Pagoda and Silver Pagoda. The scenery along the way was nice. It took about 40 minutes. We didn't plan to take photos, so we just looked at the pagodas at the entrance. The Silver Pagoda is very close to the Golden Pagoda. DAY3️⃣: Momo Hair Wash and Massage (next to the hotel) ➡️ Bus station ➡️ Tengchong 💁Tips 🔶 You must try the hair wash and massage. It was so comfortable, very professional, and the service was gentle and patient. 🔶 The bus station is about 1 km from the hotel. You can buy tickets in advance on the Baoxiaohang app. There are many buses to Tengchong (the buses are very spacious and comfortable!).
