If you're visiting Malacca for the first time, we recommend following this one-day itinerary:

- If you're visiting Malaysia, we highly recommend spending a day in Malacca. It's a great place to explore. This small city is full of history and culture, and is a fusion of Eastern and Western styles. Every step is a surprise. - If you're traveling from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, buses and private cars are both good options. We contacted a local driver in advance and booked a private car for three people to travel to and from Malacca on the same day. With a local guide, we had more time and a more fulfilling experience! - Recommended itinerary: Take a taxi to Jonker Street - Stadthuys - St. Paul's Church - A Famosa Jonker Street This street has a Nanyang style, with beautiful buildings and lots of delicious food and snacks. The famous Nyonya restaurant is highly recommended. Stadthuys Stadthuys is a landmark of Malacca. The bright colors make it a great place to take photos. You can also learn about the history of the Dutch colonial period. St. Paul's Hill Walk from Stadthuys to St. Paul's Hill to admire the church ruins and the beautiful view from the top of the hill. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Malacca and experience the unique charm of this ancient city. A Famosa Known as the "gate without walls," the top of the hill is home to St. Paul's Church. Learn about the colonial history from 150 years ago and enjoy the beautiful and stunning view of Malacca from the top of the hill. Taming Sari Tower The highest point in Malacca, the tower rotates as it rises, offering a panoramic view of Malacca. Malacca Straits Mosque The sunset here is beautiful on a clear evening. Long pants are required to enter the mosque. We didn't go inside, but instead chose to take a yacht tour. The view of the mosque from the sea is even more spectacular.
