But the moment I faced it, my expectations were pleasantly overturned. Bookshelves reaching up to the ceiling, a sunlit, vintage space. It wasn't just a place to store books. It was a world where knowledge, art, time, and stories intertwined. 'Wow, a library can be this amazing,' I marveled, gazing at the scenery for a long time. Only then did I realize. Melburnians don't just come to borrow books; they come to love this space.
