What I love about such places is that they make my travel affordable, while keeping me in some of my favourite countries. The location of Menon is wonderful too, between Monaco and the Italian Border. When i was there the weather was just lovely during the week-long stay. I am told by a lot of people that Menon enjoys good weather throughout the year and winters too are never what is considered cold in some parts of Europe. Another thing I have come to appreciate particularly with small towns in France are the gardens. In Menon's case, it is also considered as a garden town. Some of my memorable experiences in Menon also revolve around food. It is one thing I don't mind spending on or as some would consider a splurge in certain cases. My research showed me that from Le Marché des Halles to the 3 michelin star Mirazur via Italian pizzerias, the place teems with restaurants each offering a unique and colourful culinary adventure. Another lovely experience was the visit to a jam factory. La maison herbin is an amusing place. The famous festival of Fet du citron happens here. A tour of les villages perches is also recommended.
