Located in the hidden streets of Udatsu House in Mima City, UDATSU emon Teahouse is a cafe converted from the Yoshida Family Residence, a designated cultural property of Mima City. The interior exudes a natural and serene atmosphere, and when you look up, you'll find the ceiling decorated with vibrant traditional crafts and umbrellas from Mima City. The food here is made from seasonal ingredients sourced from Mima City, including local vegetables, brown rice, Awa-odori chicken, fresh fish, sudachi, blueberries, and Awa bancha tea, all specialties of Tokushima Prefecture. The simple cooking methods highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients, making the dishes not only delicious but also generously portioned. The homemade desserts and shaved ice are highly recommended.
