Miri, a Southern verse of time and fireworks intertwined

In a corner of the world, Miri in Malaysia, like a pearl wrapped in the tenderness of the years, exudes a unique and charming light. When I set foot on this land, a wonderful encounter with nature, culture and life unfolded. Arriving in Miri, the warm sunshine showered unreservedly, as if it was the first hug the city gave me. The early morning in Miri was awakened by the birdsong. Walking into a national park on the outskirts, the lush tropical rainforest is like a huge green maze. The vines meander and tangle, the tall trees block out the sun, and the sunlight streams through the crevices of the leaves, forming pillars of golden light. In my ears was the sound of a gurgling stream, the crystal clear water leaping among the stones and splashing crystal clear water. Here, every leaf is like a psalm written by nature, and every bird song is a spirited note, playing a harmonious song of life. Walking through it, I felt the majesty and delicateness of nature, and realized the insignificance and preciousness of human beings in this vast world. In the afternoon, come to the old bazaar of Miri, where life is the truest portrayal. Among the bustling crowds were stallholders ordering fresh fruits and vegetables, tourists picking out specialty crafts, and locals sitting around to savor the delicacies. I shuttled between the booths, curiously surveying the brightly colored fabrics, beautiful wood carvings, and exotic jewelry. Tasted the local specialty snacks - satay skewers and nasi milk rice, tender and juicy meat skewers with rich and mellow satay sauce, sweet and soft coconut rice wrapped in rich spices and chicken, every bite is the ultimate temptation for the taste buds, so I was deeply intoxicated by the fireworks of this Southern Ocean. When night falls, the seaside of Miri becomes the most romantic place. Sitting on the beach, looking at the sky full of stars and the sparkling sea, the oil well platform in the distance flashed with dots of lights, and the starry sky complemented each other, forming a dreamlike picture. The waves gently lapped on the beach, as if telling the story of the city. Here, time seemed to slow down, and all worries and exhaustion were swallowed up by this gentle night and the vast sea. Miri, this city full of charm, does not have the hustle and bustle of a big city, but has its own unique tranquility and warmth.
