A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience at the Blue Hole Glacier - Glacier 40.

Glacier 40, also known as Cuojia Glacier, is located near the border between Langkazi County in the Shannan region of Tibet and Bhutan. It is named after the 40th boundary marker between China and Bhutan. Although not large in scale, it features a variety of glacial formations (such as ice tongues, crevasses, ice surface lakes, ice caves, etc.), and you can get extremely close to the glacier. Walking on the lake surface, you can hear the rumbling sound of the glacier's movement, making it a must-visit on a trip to Tibet. Things to know and prepare before entering Glacier 40: Altitude is 5300 meters; proceed according to your physical condition. It is very close to the border, so you need to obtain a border pass in advance before departure. The road is not difficult but consists of wild paths and uninhabited areas; at least a four-wheel-drive vehicle is required to travel alone. Be sure to download satellite navigation and record the driving route to prevent getting lost (at least 1.5 hours of the journey has no signal). Do not climb the glacier! It is very dangerous! Drone photography is sufficient. Travel in groups and proceed according to your ability!
