Hotel Review: Ammi Aparthotel Lafayette, Nice

Ammi Aparthotel Lafayette boasts a strategic location in the heart of Nice, just steps away from Galeries Lafayette and within easy reach of major attractions. We arrived late at night, and the hotel had already provided everything we needed for a smooth self-check-in. Their instructions were clear and detailed, making the process seamless. One of the highlights of our stay was the outstanding hospitality. We had forgotten our universal adaptor at a previous hotel, and when we requested one, the staff personally delivered it to our room within two minutes—at 10 PM! Their attentiveness and dedication to guest comfort truly stood out. Additionally, we were upgraded to a larger room, which was an unexpected yet much-appreciated surprise. The room itself was impeccably clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully equipped. The mini kitchenette was fully stocked with essentials, making it convenient for longer stays. Small touches, such as a jug of water prepared in advance, further enhanced our experience. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and the hotel went the extra mile by offering a selection of pillows with different styles and firmness levels. This level of detail is something I’ve rarely seen, even in some 4-5 star hotels, making it a pleasant surprise. The only minor downside was the breakfast service. It is room-service only, with limited options and no hot food or fresh fruit available. While this might not suit travelers who prefer a hearty breakfast, it is worth noting that the breakfast is priced at only €10 per person—reasonable for what is provided. This was more of a mismatch with our personal preferences, as we tend to have large breakfasts and skip dinner. Overall, our stay at Ammi Aparthotel Lafayette was fantastic. The service and attention to detail were truly exceptional, and every staff member we encountered was enthusiastic, passionate, and eager to help. Despite the minor breakfast limitation, the hotel offers great value and an excellent experience. I would highly recommend this aparthotel and will definitely return on my next visit to Nice! #favouriteitinerary
