Traveling on the Duku Highway in Xinjiang

The Duku Highway is a world-class self-driving travel road, stretching 561 kilometers. The scenery on both sides of the road is breathtaking, often referred to as a 'thousand-mile gallery.' The Duku Highway, also known as National Highway 217 from Dushanzi to Kuqa, starts in the Dushanzi District of Karamay City in the north and connects to Kuqa City in the south, traversing the Tianshan Mountains from north to south. The winding road is embedded in the valleys, resembling a 'nine twists and eighteen turns,' offering stunning views. This is a true scenic avenue, featuring various landscapes such as snow-capped mountains, lakes, forests, grasslands, and Yadan landforms along the way. It includes scenic spots like the mysterious Tianshan Grand Canyon, the large and small Long Pools of Kuqa, Bayanbulak, and the Nalati Grassland, forming a picturesque 'four seasons in one day, different weather every ten miles' landscape.
