Ningbo Westin - A hotel for the Heavenly Bed

Overview & Public Area I have been to Ningbo four or five times recently, and the main reason for coming to Ningbo again is to go to Ningbo Qianhu Fish Port. I stayed in the city for one night and looked at the distribution of Hyatt and Marriott. First, I ruled out the older Sheraton, so the choice was basically between this Westin and Hyatt Centric. If you prefer dining, you can choose Hyatt Centric with a 600-point voucher (although their breakfast is not good), and if you want to sleep comfortably, choose Westin. Under the agreement price, the room rates of the two are basically the same. I checked in at 10:00 am and left after breakfast the next day. It was basically a pure sleep experience, and it was a good choice. On the way to many cities, you can see the Westin logo at a glance (because it is high). The hotel is located at the intersection of Sanjiangkou, with a sense of competence of a super high-rise building in the early days, with a square and slender building shape, which adds points to the building itself. The area of each floor is relatively small, and there are basically single-digit guest rooms on each floor. The underground parking lot should be mixed with many shops, which is very messy and difficult to park. I have seen many people complain about the dirty and messy parking lot, which is indeed a disadvantage. The lobby on the first floor is relatively small, but the staff's guidance is in place and the service is skilled. Room The room was upgraded to a high-floor river view room. The night view was so-so, but it looked better during the day. Some lighting decorations and mirror designs are not so boring and formulaic. I really want to complain about the plastic transparent colored washbasin in the bathroom. Later, I saw a similar one in Andaz Shanghai. I can understand the era when the hotel was created. They may have thought this setting was very trendy and cool, but as time goes by, plastic is very easy to leave traces of time, and dense scratches will make it look dirty and old. There are no major problems in other places, and it is quite novel for such a super high-rise but small single-story old building. Of course, when staying at Westin, the highlight is definitely their Heavenly Bed. After staying in hotels a lot, you will unconsciously care about and compare the bedding of different hotels, and the good and bad are still obvious. The Heavenly Bed is the best aid for deep sleep after a tiring journey. Among the Marriott brands, the only bedding I like the most is Westin. Breakfast I think their breakfast is a little surprise. The expectation is very low, but in fact, except for the small crowd caused by the high occupancy rate, everything else is very in line with the standard of a hotel at this price. There are a variety of dishes to choose from, and there are some Ningbo-style breakfasts, but I didn't eat much. I found that no matter where I go, I actually eat the same few things for breakfast. Life is full of formulas, and I am not willing to try easily. Fruits and some dishes are replenished quickly, and you won't feel that many things are gone even if you eat late. There are many people in the summer vacation, and it is understandable that it is a bit noisy. Summary I would not come to Ningbo Westin for the hotel experience, but if I want to transfer and rest when I am tired from traveling, it will be my first choice in Ningbo, with excellent bedding and a passable breakfast, combined with the price advantage of the agreement price.
