Penang Hill by a funicular 🇲🇾

Known as the first colonial hill station developed in Peninsular Malaysia, Penang Hill. It has a long and vibrant history, and is definitely a must-visit when in Penang. Set 821m above Georgetown, Penang Hill offers amazing views of the city from the top as well as a chilly climate that's about five degrees cooler than at the lowlands. The funicular experience is amazing. It is the steepest railline in the world, and the view from top is truly breathtaking. There are lots of activities to do on the top of the hill as well. We also visited the Kek Lok Si Temple there and it was beautiful - Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda and a statue of Kuan Yin. #malaysia #penang
