Exquisite Buffet in Oxford

Cosmo is a asian buffet chain across the UK. It has good value for Asian food but the Western options are lacking. There is a wide selection of international cuisine (with a focus on Asia) and the chocolate fountain is a showstopper. The seating is quite spacious (although it can get quite packed during busy hours). It is extremely bright, well-lit and welcoming. Perfect for celebrations, group gatherings or a family outing. There is an abundance of Chinese dishes to choose from in particular the Beijing ribs and lamb ribs are extremely flavoursome and delicious. Don't miss out on the hot steamed buns too (although they run out quickly and aren't refilled too often). The duck wrap is quite dry so I would skip that. There is also a small selection of sushi which is nice but not of particularly high quality. However, the California roll is nice and fresh. However, the western food is generally not too exciting. The roast meat and pastas are quite dry and lacking. The fried food is quite doughy although the sweet potato fries are quite nice. The croissants were surprisingly good: soft, flakey, and warm! Do give it a try! The service is very kind and efficient. Plates are cleared regularly and are often heard singing happy birthday to other tables. Definitely visit if you're craving Asian food and are looking for good value!
