A Million-Dollar View Cafe in Pattaya
❤️The Chatlet Wisdom Valley♥️ This cafe offers a million-dollar view and a great atmosphere. It's considered a hidden gem because it's located in Wisdom Valley, near an international school in Pattaya. The small cafe has both indoor and outdoor zones. The outdoor atmosphere is fantastic, with many photo spots. The prices for drinks and baked goods are very reasonable. If you are in this area, don't miss it!

A window into the making of a man-made wonder
The Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya. Not only was this one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited, but it even provides an open look into how this man-made wonder was created.
To enter the sanctuary of truth you have to follow one of the guided tours, but it’s no trouble as they run regularly, are offered in many languages, and are included in your ticket price.
The first stop of the tour is the one I found most interesting, a look into the workshop where each handcrafted wooden statue is made. You get to see a scale model of the building, finished statues yet to be installed, and watch artists carve new statues right in front of you. Because even though it’s already so huge and intricate, the Sanctuary of Truth is still being built and worked on today.
One point our guide made sure to emphasise, was that the Sanctuary was a museum and not a temple. It’s a structure that takes inspiration from Buddhist temples around the world. But don’t let this trick you, you still need to wear modest clothing to enter!
During the tour, our guide explained some of the museum’s history and the meaning behind the scenes depicted in the walls. Each hand crafted detail was thoroughly planned and tells a story.
Then after the tour is done, you’re free to roam the Sanctuary on your own. There are even signs guiding you to the most iconic photo spots! We were allowed to stay until 6pm, and as we’d arrived at 1pm, that was ample time to explore every corner.
Once you’ve had your fill of the Sanctuary, there’s still plenty of sights to see just outside. The open sea, secluded lakes, and even a small animal farm with goats, deer, and reindeer.
Overall I think the Sanctuary of Truth is a must see if you’re in Pattaya! It has a bit of everything: hundreds of photo opportunities, a look into the local Buddhist values, and a stunning display of artistic talent for art lovers like myself!

Summer House Pattaya: A Beachfront Cafe in Pattaya
❤️Summer House Pattaya❤️
Located right on Na Jomtien Beach Road, this cafe is easy to find. The medium-sized establishment offers both outdoor and indoor seating options. It spans two floors and serves a variety of food, coffee, and bakery items. Prices are relatively high compared to many other places, and the taste is average—not particularly outstanding. However, the interior decor is a highlight, featuring numerous photo-worthy spots both inside and outside the cafe.
❤️Highly recommended for photography enthusiasts❤️
Buffet at Centara Life in Pattaya
❤️Buffet in Centara Life❤️ A wide variety of international dishes including seafood, Thai food, and Western food for just 675 Baht. It's really good! There are many food options to choose from and everything is delicious, from savory dishes to desserts and ice cream.
You need to book the buffet with the staff when you check in. Ask the staff which days the buffet is available. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, arrived on Sunday but had the buffet on Monday evening because no one booked it on Sunday. If we had booked, we would have been the only ones. So we agreed to have it on Monday. The staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service. We really liked it and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy an international buffet here.

Stayed at Akara Hotel Pattaya Thailand 🇹🇭
#hotelstaycation
Location: About three minutes' walk from Terminal 21.
There are 7-11 downstairs, and there are also some snack stalls nearby, which are quite convenient.
Breakfast: There are many kinds of Chinese and Western dishes. After eating for two days, the hot dishes have changed a little. Youming can cook noodles. Muesli is delicious, and there are not many choices for cheese. It can be regarded as a five-star breakfast.
Infrastructure: Newly opened in 2024, and the hardware is very new. But one of the sinks we ordered has a breakdown, and it should be quite easy to occur, because when I called the front desk, she immediately asked me if the water could not flow down. It seems that this is not the first time that this problem has occurred. The room I booked has a bathtub. The twin bed is not big, it seems to be only 1.1m, and the big bed is 2m*2m. There is shampoo and shower gel, no comb.
There is a control panel in the house, and you can choose Chinese. The air conditioner is not cold enough for me, and the fixed minimum is only 22 degrees. If you turn it on the loudest, the sound is a little loud. The swimming pool is on the 24th floor. It's not too big. It's enough to soak in water, and it's facing the sunset. It's very beautiful.
Service attitude: check-in on the seventh floor. There are welcome drinks. The front desk is fluent in English.
A deposit of 1000 baht is required to stay in a room, and it will be refunded when you check out.
Cost performance: 620/night (including breakfast). I originally booked a luna room, but it was upgraded to a honeymoon suite for free, so the cost performance is full. However, if you check in again, you can book the most ordinary room type.
