The mind blowing Erawan Museum, you need to see it to believe it!

This popped up on my Instagram feed and I couldn’t quite believe it, so had to visit! The Erawan museum features lots of small temples and shrines based around the world’s biggest elephant statue. Housed in the base of the elephant is the most detailed and intricate shrine I have ever seen. The grounds themselves are beautiful, with water features and ornate statues surrounding the centrepiece. You can walk around the various shrines and pay tribute if you want, or just sit and watch people going about their religious traditions. The main feature is the incredible elephant temple, take your shoes off and make sure you’re dressed appropriately before You enter. This is probably the most intricately designed building I have ever seen, the detailing in the craftsmanship is Incredible. Make sure you make it to the top, follow the small spiral staircase to the attic room for the beautifully decorated roof.
