Pompeii archaeological site

Pompeii is a microcosm of Rome's past glory, built in the 70s BC, with a very important geographical location, north of Mount Vesuvius, west of the Bay of Naples, the Salerno River around the city, connecting the Roman Empire with trade around the world. Due to the volcanic eruption, it disappeared overnight, buried under volcanic ash for several centuries, until the 18th century to see the light of day, is still under excavation.
