Poznan: Enjoy life at a slower pace!

Poznan is an important city in Poland. It is not only a transportation hub, but also a leading city in education, literature, and history. It was even once the capital of Poland. However, I didn't know any of this before I decided to visit. I just thought it sounded like a quiet place. It turns out that the city is indeed very quiet. Especially Cathedral Island (photos 5, 6, and 7), where you can walk around and enjoy the scenery without seeing many people. It's as if the place has never been discovered by the world. When strolling through Poznan Old Town (photos 1, 2, and 3), you'll see buildings in soft fruit colors. It's the most naturally colorful old town I've ever seen, with a mysterious beauty and an incomprehensible depth. The colors have been destroyed by countless wars, but they have become even more dazzling after each reconstruction! The graffiti is also impressive, sometimes rough and sometimes romantic. If you suddenly see a building with a comic-style mural on the street, don't doubt your eyes. Yes, it is a real house (photo 8). Artists paint on the original structure of the house, and from a distance, you can't tell if the people standing in front of the building are real or not. I highly recommend visiting this low-key Polish city to experience the peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle.
