This cathedral was dedicated to St Vitus until 1997, and is a prominent example of Gothic architecture. It is located beside the Prague Castle complex, and thus serves as the place of worship by the Kings and Emperors, and thus containing many tombs of them. Today, it is known as the Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wesceslaus and Adalbert. The Cathedral added some Renaissance and Baroque characteristics by Nikolaus Pacassi, and a great organ is added at the northern wing. Today, it is a cathedral serves as the tourism spot for both tourists and pilgrims.
