Sunset over Bromo Volcano

October 1, Sunday. After checking in at the SEWU waterfall in Indonesia, I returned to the hotel at 16:00 on the 30th. Seven hours later, at midnight on October 1, with the timely arrival of the special car, the second special forces operation: Indonesian BROMO Volcano🌋 began! We set off in the middle of the night, with countless hairpin bends and steep mountain roads along the way. After a 2.5-hour drive, we arrived at the volcano's parking lot assembly point at 2 a.m., where we had to wait to change to a JEEP to go up the mountain again. Around 2:30 in the morning, after the JEEP was ready, we switched to an old Toyota jeep and climbed steeply for about 30 kilometers. At 3:20 in the morning, we arrived at the BROMO volcano viewing point. It was cold on the mountain in the middle of the night, with assault clothes and down jackets, charcoal fire, hot coffee, waiting until about 4:15 in the morning, we climbed to the best viewing position, fully focused on the changing light and shadow of the upcoming sunrise over the volcano, the scenery was stunningly beautiful! After watching the sunrise, we took the JEEP to the volcano mouth, climbed up to watch the smoke from the volcano eruption and listen to the roar of the earth. At the end of the tour, we were covered in uncleanable volcanic ash and had a handful of beautiful scenic photos! Today, a full 11 hours, returned to the hotel at noon, but couldn't care about anything, washed my face, hurriedly packed my luggage, checked out at 12 o'clock! Out of the hotel lobby, took a chartered car to the outer south dream!
