Beidaihe Pigeon Nest Park + Tiger Stone Park Tour for 4 Hours

A few days ago, I went on a business trip to Qinhuangdao and took the opportunity to visit Pigeon Nest Park and Tiger Stone Park. These two places are very close to each other and are perfect for a quick visit. If you just want to walk around, take a look, and snap some photos, 4 hours is enough; but if you want to play in the water, it might take longer (the following is a related introduction). Pigeon Nest Park, also known as Eagle's Beak Park, is located at the northeast corner of Beidaihe Beach, right next to Binhai Avenue. It is one of the four major scenic spots in the Beidaihe Scenic Area of Qinhuangdao City. Watching the sunrise here, you can encounter the spectacular sight of 'bathing in the sun,' which is particularly beautiful. Watching the sunrise here is the most popular activity, and a famous writer Junqing even wrote about the beautiful sunrise scenery here. In spring and autumn, thousands of rare migratory birds come here to forage and rest, becoming a beautiful landscape. In the late 1990s, it was designated as a national bird nature reserve. Now, Pigeon Nest Park welcomes visitors from all over the country with a brand new look. In the summer of 1954, Chairman Mao stood here and gazed into the distance, feeling deeply moved, and wrote the poem 'Lang Tao Sha · Beidaihe.' To commemorate Chairman Mao, the Beidaihe District Government erected a stele with the poem and a statue of Chairman Mao in the park. Tiger Stone Park is located in the center of the Beidaihe Scenic Area and is a very famous tourist destination. The giant rocks in the park extend into the sea and resemble a group of tigers, hence the name Tiger Stone. The beach here is wide, the seawater is clean, and the slope is gentle, making it the most popular seaside bathing place in the summer. The park also has a large entertainment venue with activities such as parasailing, windsurfing, and surfing, as well as a children's playground, making it one of the larger comprehensive seaside parks in China.
