A whirlwind trip to Rome.

On December 3rd, I traveled from Paris to Rome. I left my luggage at the hotel and went sightseeing. I walked and walked and walked. In a 2-day, 1-night trip, I think you can walk around most of the places you want to visit. The cobblestone roads make it a bit tough with a suitcase. Also, the Trevi Fountain can be too crowded to see at certain times, so since my hotel was within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, I went there at 7 AM. There were few people, and it was a great spot for taking photos, so I recommend it. The city was cold, but it was warm during the day. At night, it was cold enough to need a down jacket.
