1 day in Rome

Spent just one day in Rome, meaning we tried to fit everything in, including a trip to the Vatican Museums. As soon as we got inside it was an overwhelming experience, so much history and art. Because we visited in December, it was less crowded than usual at all the main tourist spots, including the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain (which as you can see in the picture, was not working and was being refurbished) the weather was extremely pleasant considering the time of year. We found everywhere we ate or got a snack, the food was absolutely delicious and the coffee was exceptional.
