If you want to find a building that is the same age as the city of St. Petersburg, then it is the Peter and Paul Fortress. It can be said that St. Petersburg was born and developed under the protection of the fortress. The fortress is a famous ancient building in St. Petersburg, located on the right bank of the Neva River. It was built for defense before, gradually became a prison, and now it is a museum.
