Crowne Plaza Los Angeles Harbor Hotel Experience

Recently, I went to Los Angeles and stayed at the Crowne Plaza Los Angeles Harbor Hotel. The hotel is located at 601 S. Palos Verdes Street San Pedro, which is quite convenient and very close to the San Pedro Cruise Port. The transportation is also good, and it is very convenient to travel by boat. The location of the hotel is really good, close to the cruise port, so it is very suitable for people who are about to board a cruise. There are many restaurants around, although this area is a bit old, there are many places to eat and drink. The design of the hotel is a bit retro, but it is quite clean. The front desk reception is very friendly, and they arranged for me to check in early after I arrived early. The check-in process at the front desk was very fast, and the staff were all smiling, which made me feel very friendly. The room is really big. We stayed in a corner room, which gave us views in two different directions. The room is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the air conditioning is a lifesaver in the summer. The room has everything we need, and we can even bring dumbbells from the gym to the room to exercise. However, the hotel is a bit old, for example, the air conditioning in the gym hardly works, and the corridor has a bit of an odor. There are many recommended places around, such as San Pedro Brewery, which has great beer and snacks. There are also some good restaurants around, such as Blu Restaurant, which has a satisfying breakfast and lunch, although the service is a bit slow, but the food quality is great. Also, the nearby San Pedro Fish Market & Restaurant is worth a visit, lively and delicious. However, it must be mentioned that the hotel has some shortcomings. Parking is charged, which is a bit annoying. Also, the hotel is a bit old and needs to be upgraded and renovated. There are no stairs to the rooms on the floor where we stayed, and the lighting in the emergency stairs is not good, which is a bit scary at night. At the same time, the security around the hotel always feels not very good, and the staff also specifically reminded us not to go out at night. I hope this can be improved in the future! In short, this stay experience is satisfactory, with advantages and some flaws, but overall, the price and service are worth the price. If you are also planning to travel by cruise, you can consider staying here for one night.
