Photogenic Majestic Buddha Statue

#traveldiaries #japan Designed by top Japanese architect Tadao Ando, this magnificent Buddha statue of 13.5m high blows my mind when I first saw it. On the outside, you can only see the buddha head peeping through the roofless hall. Once you enter the premise, you are greeted by a water garden that reflects the sky and a 40m tunnel before reaching the main gigantic Buddha statue. There is a pathway for you to circle around the statue and admire the artwork. This is an underrated attraction and I highly recommend visiting this place!
