The shrine serves as a spiritual Center for locals, offering a space for worship, cultural events and seasonal celebrations. The shrine offers a serene and calm atmosphere, the infrastructure is intricate, beautifully and meticulously built. The area is huge and spacious, great place for birds watching, prayers, and for some leisure walks, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists throughout the year. We visited the shrine during winter and it was so beautiful with snow on the rooftop and floor. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Aapporo
