Island-Hopping Paradise in Seychelles: A Day of Adventure, Local Flavours & Sunset Bliss

If you are looking to explore Seychelles beyond Mahé, a private island-hopping boat tour and a sunset dinner are essentials to elevate your trip! On our last day, we planned a full day of discovery, beginning with a morning private boat tour from Mahé to three stunning islands: Ile Moyenne, Long Island and Cerf Island. #holidayvacation 🏝️ A day on the water exploring Seychelles hidden gems! Each of these islands has a unique charm, and a boat tour allowed us to experience the best of each. #boattour - Ile Moyenne is known for its incredible natural beauty and rich biodiversity. Walking around the island, you can see giant tortoises roaming freely, adding a truly exotic feel to the lush environment. #environment #tortoise - Long Island delivered some of the clearest, turquoise waters we have ever seen. We anchored here for some snorkelling, which felt like swimming in an aquarium filled with colourful fish, coral reefs and the occasional turtle passing by. #snorkeling #coralreef - Cerf Island was our lunch spot, where we dove inti the flavours of Seychelles! We tried locally-prepared seafood dishes - which gave us a taste of authentic island cuisine! 🌅 To end the day on a high note, we headed back to Mahé and drove to Rock Pool Seafood Bar & Grill for a memorable dinner with a view. This spot is known for its fresh seafood, laid-back atmosphere and unforgettable sunsets. The sky turned vibrant shades of orange and purple as the sun dipped below the horizon. #sunset #vacation This day was one of the highlights of our trip to Seychelles! Plus, you get more control over your itinerary. - Snorkel: Bringing your own snorkel gear is helpful if you want to avoid rentals and have your preferred equipment. - Arrange lunch ahead of time: Many beachside spots on Cerf Island require prior arrangements for meals, especially if you are after specific local dishes or seafood - Sunset: Arriving about 45 minutes before sunset gives you time to settle in, take photos and soak up the atmosphere before the show begins.
