In the year of the snake, Panlong Tiandi has created a giant water snake lantern called "Siwu" in the Jiangnan water system. The snake weaves through the ancient bridges of Panlong, and the streets and corridors of Panlong are also decorated with snake lanterns. The dragon returns to the streets, and the bonfire is lit in the green space. Panlong Port, also known as Panlonghui or Panlongtang, is one of the five major ports of the ancient Wusong River. It is said that "Panlong has eighteen bends, and every bend you see Panlong," meaning that every time you turn a bend, you see Panlong Town, but the boat never reaches it. Because of its winding shape, it is named Panlong. It is the main river in Panlong Town, with many branches and tributaries. In the past, there were many bridges across it, and the town was built on the banks of the middle section of Panlong Port, which naturally became known as "Panlong Town." Xianghua Bridge is located in the center of the old street of Panlong Village, Xujing Town, crossing Shujing Port from north to south. It is commonly known as "Panlong Bridge." It was first built in the year of Gengchen (1340) in the Yuan Dynasty and was rebuilt twice during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. According to legend, during the Zhengde period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a young man named Cao Jie who lived by the stone bridge. He was intelligent and studious and loved to grow flowers and plants. At the age of 13, he planted a peony, which bloomed the following year. By the age of 16, the peony had five colors and its fragrance spread for miles. Later, Cao Jie became the emperor's teacher, known as Cao Taishi. Since then, the locals have called the peony "Madam Cao." Every year, when the peony blooms, the stone bridge is filled with fragrance, and people call it "Xianghua Bridge."
